The five-star Palazzo Versace hotel in Dubai now accepts cryptocurrency

  • Payments from guests will be handled via the Binance platform.

Palazzo Versace Dubai, a five-star hotel in Dubai, accepts cryptocurrency payments for rooms, meals, and spa services. Payments made with Bitcoin, Ethereumor Binance Coin (BNB) from guests via the Binance platform.

Furthermore, the 146-room ultra-luxury resort in Jaddaf Waterfront announced in a press release that it will start accepting cryptocurrency payments for goods on its e-commerce platforms, especially gift certificates and vouchers.

Nadim Ladki, Head of Business Development for the Middle East and North Africa at Binance, said:

“The Palazzo Versace Hotel’s ability to accept payments with virtual assets is a reflection of how Dubai’s hospitality industry is at the forefront of innovation as we transition to a more digital world. Payments are just the beginning and we look forward to building on this partnership together.”

High adoption rate

Similarly, Ukrainian retailer Varus, which has more than a hundred supermarkets across the country, will start accepting cryptocurrencies via Binance Pay.

Moreover, the Binance Pay system has now been used by the first European supermarket, Varus. Kyiv, Dnipro, Kamyansk, Brovary, Nikopol, Vychhorod, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhya, Pavlograd are among the nine Ukrainian cities. This is where customers can pay with cryptocurrency for food and supplies.

Moreover, it was reported last month that Techno zhak and Stylus, two of Ukraine’s leading tech merchants, will begin accepting bitcoin payments at their 110 pooled sites. There have been a number of noteworthy examples of companies accepting cryptocurrency in recent months.

In June, Hublot, a luxury Swiss wristwatch, released two hundred pieces of a new line called Big Bang Unico Essential Gray. Moreover, these watches are exclusive to the Hublot US e-Boutique website, where cryptocurrency payments are accepted. Company-wide cryptocurrency transactions will be handled by BitPay.
