In an interview, Garzik commented:

NxC is more than just a production company. It is a passionate community defined by the people and projects it interacts with. One of our core principles is to empower fans of science fiction and fantasy to do more than just consume content from the worlds we build, but allow them to truly participate in their beloved real estate in ways they never thought possible. Above all, NxC pledges to always put the needs of the audience first because we always make great entertainment.

To get the ball rolling, Garzik has already announced the first two television projects of his company. The first will be an hour-long action-drama program known as The Land of Death, which will be based on the bestselling book series. It was produced by a man named Mark A. Altman, who also worked on projects such as “Agent X”, “Pandora” and “The Librarians”.

In his interview, Garzik described what the show would look like:

Deathlands is ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ meets ‘Yellowjackets’ in an epic post-apocalyptic sci-fi adventure. Land of Death tells the story of a world devastated by violence, destruction and death. Now, only the most intelligent, cunning and capable survive as they attempt to navigate the new normal of a world turned upside down in the hope of building a new, fairer society for the future.

The second project will be a show called “Looking Glass,” based on an original concept written by Garzik himself. He described the project as “exciting” and “thought-provoking” and said it was “a new science-fiction action/adventure series where a young woman whose memory has been erased goes on a quest to discover [true] Identity as a network runner must rescue the outcasts of society from a murderous plot that threatens to destroy the future.”

When will all this happen?

Initially, “Looking Glass” was a graphic novel produced by a division of NxC known as Next Cypher Words + Art. The first version was announced by the company at the San Diego Comic-Con event last July.

Production of “Deathlands” will begin in early 2023. The film will be shot in the European country of Bulgaria. While no official location has been announced, filming for “Looking Glass” is set to begin later next year. The company also stated that fans should keep their eyes and ears open for announcements regarding all of the company’s final plans for movies and television entertainment.
