Extreme backlash on graphics
Some individuals criticized the announcement of the launch of Horizon Worlds in Spain and France by saying that the selfie that was doing it looked outdated due to its lack of complex visuals, prompting the company to announce an update in response to the criticism.
Influencers, columnists, and regular users have all criticized the Meta for its image visuals. Others have expressed their disapproval of the company as well, noting that the images shown are dated.
“I know the photo I posted earlier this week was very basic – it was taken very quickly to celebrate the launch.”
Meta has received criticism for the significant investments it has made in the Reality Labs metaverse division. Although the division’s sales in the second quarter of 2022 were above $400 million, losses of $2.8 billion were recorded. Earlier this month, the company issued a $10 billion bond to continue supporting its activities, including its metaverse division.
